Job Description:
- As a Retoucher at Superdry you will be an integral member of the Brand Design team reporting into the Senior Retoucher. Working alongside other internal creative teams you will be responsible for the delivery of world class creative which engages and inspires our style obsessed consumer.
- You will work on a variety of projects and activities from Ecommerce and Wholesale through to Seasonal and Social campaigns. Working to a brief that has been agreed with the Head of Brand Design you will be responsible for retouching imagery to a high standard for a variety of formats and channels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Keep up to date with the methods of retouching and pro-actively develop your skills
- Pro-actively source required imagery and manage workloads
- Work with internal and external photographers to ensure the highest quality selection of images
- Undertake other duties relevant to your role where required
- Act as gatekeeper for all imagery and ensure it reflects the brand integrity
- Assist the Senior Retoucher and the rest of the team in other tasks where necessary
- Ensure all imagery is retouched consistently and to a high quality while meeting deadlines
- Liaise with the Senior Retoucher and other team members to test and refine retouching techniques and to make informed decisions on image quality
- Retouch and process all imagery for print and online in line with the brand guidelines
Job Requirements:
- Passionate and energetic design professional with 1-3 years’ experience providing support within a fast paced agency environment, ideally in the fashion and sports sectors
- Passionate about style and contemporary culture and embody the values of the brand
- Up to date with industry knowledge
- Are incredibly well organised and take pride in delivering your work on time to the brief, often under pressure
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Serious about the work you create
- A talented creative, knowledgeable in photographic process and set-up
- Able to adhere to processes and are adaptable
Qualification & Experience:
- Experienced in using standard creative software – Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One Pro
- Previous experience of following brand guidelines
