Seaworld Job Openings – Refuse Operator

Job Description:

Operate heavy equipment including, but not limited to the following: tractor, fork truck, refuse compactor, cardboard baler, wheel loader and composting equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform duties for the compost and hazardous waste operation
• Provide the park with empty dumpsters by collecting and emptying dumpsters at the compactor site following a daily schedule
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements performing your duties
• Work closely with other refuse operators to create and support a team environment

Job Requirements:

• Have good communication skills and the ability to get along with others
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be willing to learn how to operate refuse and recycling equipment
• Have valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving guidelines

Qualification & Experience:

• Have good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
• Bend, reach, twist and turn with flexibility, able to climb stairs
• Be able to work and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work outside in various weather conditions
