Job Description:
As a Nurse, you’ll deliver the peace of mind that elevates our guest experience. Your reassuring presence will foster a positive atmosphere which enables the highest level of Ambassador performance and guest service
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify patient needs and priorities for case, utilizing the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementing (and/or delegating or referring for care), and evaluating outcomes.
- Work alongside park Emergency Medical Technicians to respond to medical emergencies throughout the park.
- Administer OTC medications to guests and team members in accordance with company medical protocols and policies as well as standing orders.
- Provide care to ill/injured guests and employees within the scope of practice utilizing company medical protocols, policies, and standing orders.
- Share essential information regarding guest and employee incidents through documentation and verbal communication and in compliance with HIPPA regulations.
- Perform daily opening and/or closing duties of the First Aid station
- Initiate accident investigations for work-related and ride-related incidents.
- Document assessments and treatment provided on appropriate forms.
Job Requirements:
- Current Pennsylvania RN license required
- Two years Pre-Hospital/Emergency/Nursing School/Camp Nurse/Occupational Health Nursing experience preferred.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR and AED certification required.
