Job Description:

Publix is seeking a Systems Analyst who will play a key role interacting with feature development and architecture teams to maintain a performant, reliable, and scalable e-commerce platform. As a member of this Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, you will proactively monitor a large e-commerce platform, work with feature development teams to ensure SLO adherence, and participate in 24×7 support rotation. Members of this SRE team are expected to interpret SLI metrics, provide guidance to feature development teams on how to meet/exceed SLOs, and report on the effectiveness of implemented recommendations. On this team we are seeking a technical candidate with strong analytical, engineering, and problem-solving skills as well as strong interpersonal communication skills. The most suitable candidate will be able to communicate effectively with management, peers and various development teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Attention to detail with the ability to produce reliable, effective solutions
  • Familiarity with SRE
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Sever
  • Strong self-initiative with the ability to identify areas of improvement with minimal direction

Qualification & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing/supporting web applications/APIs
  • 5+ years of .NET development experience
  • Experience with synthetic and performance testing technologies
  • Experienced in solving application issues caused by code, configuration, or architecture
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud hosting environments (Azure/GCP/AWS)
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
