Primerica Internship – Annuity Exchange Desk Manager

Job Description:

The Operations Support Manager directly manages the Annuity Exchange Desk which is responsible for evaluating new and resubmitted Internal Exchange requests from internal Annuity contracts to new products sold by Primerica. The Annuity Exchange Desk (AED) acts as the liaison between Primerica Representatives and the Annuity Exchange Committee. The AED receives, prepares and presents the requests to the Committee. This encompasses our Variable Annuity, Indexed Linked Annuity, Fixed Indexed Annuity, Managed Account products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitors workflow, productivity and quality measures to ensure equal contribution from employees and coordinates planning and work efforts between these workflows as required
• Provides coaching and performance management, communicates promotions, and conducts disciplinary actions, demotions or terminations
• Assists with employee relations, problem solving and resolution
• Analyze incoming work and provide appropriate feedback and recommendations to senior management as well as coordinate and contribute to testing efforts and research required by external departments such as Legal, Compliance, or Business Assessment

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Familiarity with database, mainframe, Nautilus, and BNY systems
• Knowledge of overall system software
• Understanding of company workflow and overall system processing
• Fundamental understanding of industry regulations
• Fundamental understanding of Sales Force
• Ability to identify problems and formulate solutions to problems
• Ability to recognize legal and regulatory issues affecting the liability of the Company
• Ability to manage people and projects
• Fully cross trained in all operational team functions
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
