Job Description:
The Entry Level Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing the bi-weekly Payroll for Aéropostale and Nautica. Research and reconcile payroll and time/attendance issues. Work with the Payroll Manager to process all payroll adjustments and exceptions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures that payroll-related transactions are processed in compliance with external and internal policies
- Processes organization’s payroll and compiles payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records
- Performs actions necessary to track and determine regular and overtime pay
- Performs other related clerical payroll duties as assigned
- Participates in problem solving and special projects with the Payroll Department
- Reviews and processes payroll adjustments including reviewing/adjusting overtime versus halftime hours, vacation, sick and other time off
- Fields and responds to payroll inquiries via phone and email communications and resolves discrepancies as required
- Audits payroll information for accuracy
- Reconciles payroll deposits and direct deposit credits (returned funds)
Job Requirements:
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience using Dayforce a plus
- Must have excellent computer skills
Qualification & Experience:
- Must have a Bachelors degree
- 1 to 2 years experience as a Payroll Administrator
- Must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
