Job Description:

The Entry Level Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing the bi-weekly Payroll for Aéropostale and Nautica. Research and reconcile payroll and time/attendance issues. Work with the Payroll Manager to process all payroll adjustments and exceptions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that payroll-related transactions are processed in compliance with external and internal policies
  • Processes organization’s payroll and compiles payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records
  • Performs actions necessary to track and determine regular and overtime pay
  • Performs other related clerical payroll duties as assigned
  • Participates in problem solving and special projects with the Payroll Department
  • Reviews and processes payroll adjustments including reviewing/adjusting overtime versus halftime hours, vacation, sick and other time off
  • Fields and responds to payroll inquiries via phone and email communications and resolves discrepancies as required
  • Audits payroll information for accuracy
  • Reconciles payroll deposits and direct deposit credits (returned funds)

Job Requirements:

  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience using Dayforce a plus
  • Must have excellent computer skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • Must have a Bachelors degree
  • 1 to 2 years experience as a Payroll Administrator
  • Must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
