Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates or manages regional and global projects of various sizes including planning, execution and transition
  • Responsible for defining, scoping, planning, communication, oversight and execution of the assigned projects
  • Identifies, analyses, defines, and coordinates stakeholder needs
  • Establishes, communicates, and manages appropriate project scope change management procedures
  • Anticipates and identifies potential problems or risks and presents alternative solutions
  • Clearly communicate with project stakeholders and team members in a timely fashion regarding project status, issues, and questions.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains all documentation related to the projects including charters, work plans, timelines, issue/risk logs and budgets
  • Identify and develop process improvements; provides recommendations on next steps
  • Manage project deliverables
  • Bilingual preferred but not required. Bilingual to provide written and verbal English and Japanese translations, as needed
  • May require up to 5% travel; domestic and international

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Including Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Bilingual preferred; would require fluent verbal and written Japanese and English skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Project Manager (CPM) preferred
  • Bilingual preferred; would require Japanese Language Proficiency Test level I or equivalent capability
  • Valid passport may be required

Qualification & Experience:

  • Six to eight years of related project management experience
  • Preferred experience utilizing Waterfall and Scrum (Agile) Project Management methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management/Business or a related field, or equivalent
