Job Description:

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Financial Analyst, FP&A – Retail to join the Finance team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. Marc Jacobs International is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) fashion division and operates in the wholesale and direct to consumer retail markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with US, Europe, Japan, APAC regions to review and challenge budget submissions and monthly close through comprehensive P&L analysis
• Review new store projects, analyzing ROI and alignment with strategic plan
• Prepare special projects and ad hoc analysis as required. Perform data extraction and creative of customized reports for management to meet changing needs of the business
• Assist FP&A team with preparation of budget presentations in PowerPoint with focus on accuracy and storytelling through graphs and charts
• Monitor and analyze store network and door-level P&L
• Analyze actuals vs. budget / forecasts; identify key risks and opportunities for senior management
• Prepare monthly global financial packages for internal business
• Support Finance and Accounting in preparing all reporting packages according to the standard and deadlines of LVMH group and the Brand Management
• Develop value-added cross-divisional and cross-functional partnerships to maintain awareness of business activities, and leverage knowledge and best practices

Job Requirements:

• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to explain variances to Budgets and LY
• Ability to build and manage department operating expense budgets
• Personable, team oriented and capable of developing strong working relationship with business partners
• 1-3 years experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced excel skills
• Organized and able to multi-task
• Comfortable with basic accounting concepts and general ledger analysis and systems
• Comfortable with P&L management and construction
