Job Description:

  • The Controlling Department provides support to executive management and operational departments with relevant key performance indicators for targeted management of all business processes within the company. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and help develop a small team of Business Partners
  • Act as a Business Partner for national departments and contact person for international departments
  • Supporting executive management and operational departments
  • Monitoring and analysing KPIs, thereby identifying risks, errors, problems and improvement opportunities
  • Manipulating and interpreting large sets of business data using the Business Intelligence Software
  • Designing advanced reports and tools used by various areas in the business that would help improving decision making and performance
  • Creating country-specific reports
  • Planning and forecasting of costs, investments and KPIs
  • Monitoring & detailed P&L analysis
  • Conducting quality assurance of systems
  • Developing and analysing audited areas
  • Implementing international standards
  • Assisting in Financial assessments of business activities and projects

Job Requirements:

  • FP&A experience is essential for this role
  • Able to work on projects independently with a strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to influence decisions at C-suite level
  • A proven aptitude for data analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word and Excel / VBA skills
  • An organised multitasker that is able to prioritise their workload and able to meet tight deadlines whilst achieving results
  • A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • German language speaking skills (advantageous)
  • An innovator rather than an administrator, who is able to deliver the final product in a quality fashion

Qualification & Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant -ACCA,ACA or CIMA
  • Previous experience working with departments outside of Finance and managing stakeholders
  • Broad & solid reporting experience
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a team
