Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson – Technology Services – is looking to hire a new Release Manager to work in the Commercial Technology organization. This position is based in Tampa, Florida.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage new projects and existing projects
• Enhance performance with internal and external systems.
• Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve internal functionality
• Create solutions and solve critical business needs that involves : Jenkins, Salesforce.com, Agile tools (Atlassian suite), CI/CD and DevOps utilities.
• Responsible for technical planning, system design, integration decisions and software installation.
• Need to be able to communicate with developers, manage environment access/permissions, manage project release timelines and setup scheduled releases.

Qualification & Experience:

• Recommends improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team.
• YAML/Swagger experience
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and team building skills with proficiency in grasping new technical concepts quickly.
• Experience in full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and testing pipelines.
• Familiarity with the development lifecycle is required. A development background in SFDC/ Object oriented programming is preferred.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Area of study in Computer Science or related field preferred
• A minimum of 6 years work experience in release management or equivalent field.
• Fluency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or Groovy.
