Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced marketing communications professional to provide strategic, creative, and executional leadership across our external marketing communications efforts. This individual will run the multi-channel activation of our Enterprise Creative Platform, to build a consistent, engaging, and impactful expression of the Johnson & Johnson brand. This position will be accountable for developing breakthrough content and building robust audience, media, and measurement strategies to validate in-market success. They will drive content integration across the Paid, Owned, and Earned ecosystem, maintain oversight of campaign visual & verbal guidelines, and establish the core building blocks to facilitate the globalization of our new creative platform.
Job Responsibilities:
- Integrate with Earned (Media Relations), Owned (Content Lab) and Media Operations for a cohesive strategy across external brand communications
- Lead all aspects of campaign activation, collaborating closely with creative and media agency teams, to ensure flawless and timely in-market delivery
- Establish brand playbook and guidelines (visual & verbal) to facilitate region / market rollout of unifying platform
- Shape and activate multi-channel campaign in support of the Creative Platform, inclusive of content development, audience targeting, media strategy, and outcomes tracking
- Collaborate with agency teams and cross-functional partners in the development of multi-channel content
- Establish agile content production model and partner ecosystem
- Socialize creative strategy across Global Corporate Affairs, business sectors and functions
- Steward Integrated Comms Planning to craft creative and content needs
- Expand psychographic audience insights to enable personalized content and impactful targeting
- Partner with Global Strategy & Insights team to lead comprehensive and dynamic campaign tracking for ongoing validation and optimization
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated strategic and financial savvy in making effective business decisions
- Strong command of brand strategy, creative development, media landscape and coordinated campaign management
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
- Proven skill in navigating complexity and delivering business growth in a similar integrated brand leadership role is required
- Shown success in developing strategic agency partnerships to build long term brand health
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in providing marketing thought leadership to craft new ways of working and advance strategically grounded business decisions
- Supervisor/people management experience encouraged
- Experience leading in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- A BA degree is required; MBA in Business or Marketing strongly preferred
- A minimum of 8 years of dynamic experience in setting a vision and implementing in a similar integrated brand leadership role, preferably with a range of industry experience and cross-functional management
