Job Description:
The Import Representative Support Accounting Assistant 2 is responsible for delivering a set of specialized services to achieve department goals. This role supports the payment functions for Nordstrom imported merchandise into the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, curiosity and the ability to collaborate with co-workers to meet department responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute wire transfers in multiple currencies for accurate and timely payment to suppliers, and buying agents
- Enter invoice data for payment with a high level of accuracy
- Assist in reconciliation of invoices against merchandise receipts
- Review documents to mitigate cost discrepancies and confirm value declared equals value paid
- Assist with any ad hoc reporting or projects as business requires
- Notate anomalies and escalate to the appropriate parties for resolution
- Ensure all invoices meet cross-functional internal requirements for payment and Customs clearance

Qualification & Experience:
- 0-2 years of equivalent training and job-related experience preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, with an emphasis on excel
- Passing score on the Financial Math Test
- Proficiency in 10-key
