Job Description:

Disney’s Addressable Ad Operations team is seeking a Senior Ad Operations Specialist who will be an exceptional addition to our New York Based Sales and Advertising Operations team on one or more of our exciting brands. These brands are composed of The Walt Disney Company’s (NYSE: DIS) global entertainment and news television properties, owned television stations, as well as radio and publishing businesses. This includes the ABC Television Network, ABC Owned Television Stations Group, ABC Studios, ESPN, Hulu, Disney Channels Worldwide, Freeform, FX and National Geographic as well as Disney/ABC Domestic Television and Disney Media Distribution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for immediate Ad Platform and Ad Ops escalations; keeping track of status updates for open and closed issues
  • Work with manager to assign coverage during times of high volume and keeping track of PTO/Coverage effort
  • Serve as day-to-day expert for Ad Ops Solutions in proprietary tools – Rio, GAM, Operative One, etc.
  • Daily health check with AOSS on respective coast
  • Lead Weekly standup meetings with Ad Ops Solutions Specialists
  • Track AOS workload for investigations to reallocate resources as needed and for monitoring purposes
  • Assist Ad Ops Solutions Specialists in developing canned responses for stakeholders related to active or resolved issues
  • Point of escalation for all Ad Ops Solutions Specialists on tier 1 DAS troubleshooting
  • Identify process and product inefficiencies and ways to improve operational workflow
  • Alignment with Senior Ad Ops Specialists on escalations on campaign review, operational processes and training/documentation
  • Work with Manager of Ad Ops Solutions to build and align documentation and guidelines for all Processes, Training & Development
  • Monitor pipeline, late creative and upcoming report to support team during daily/weekly volume spikes or quarterly starts

Job Requirements:

  • Experience within the digital online ecosystem, including familiarity with third party ad servers such as DCM, Innovid, etc.
  • At least 2 years of Ad Operations Experience, including review and 1st response support for campaign, ad server and platform escalations
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital media operations with exposure to ad technology and implementation processes

Qualification & Experience:

  • Comfort with reporting and using data sets for deeper analysis
  • Quick learner and detail oriented: critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner and detail oriented; critical thinking, analytical and problem- solving skills; ability to prioritize tasks in fast-pace environment and can quickly pick up new software applications
  • Experience with workflows involving developers, engineers, product and viewer experience teams
  • Flexible attitude; proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities
  • Expert problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience in a queue management/ticketing system such as JIRA and Operative
  • Advanced project management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with workflows involving developers, engineers, product and viewer experience teams
