Job Description:
The Disney+ team is responsible for the day to day operation of Disney+ across EMEA, specifically focused on marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships and synergy, content programming, research and analytics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships across the Analytics and business teams at regional and local level, in particular the Subscriber Growth team, including
- Performance Marketing and Customer Management, as well as with the global DMED Analytics team to align on key priorities and targets
- Deliver timely analysis and insight to support the Subscriber Growth functions in EMEA (customer acquisition, in-app merchandising, and retention and engagement), to measure initiatives and proactively identify growth opportunities amongst subscribers / future subscribers.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and create new ones, acknowledging opportunities when automatable scalable solutions are required and when one off analytics is best placed
- Scope out and drive the implementation of tests across merchandising, customer comms, product features across the region. Develop test plans, defining success metrics, and ensuring robust statistical results
- Present clear results with insights, related implications and actions to a variety of stakeholders
- Manage 2 regional Senior Analysts, and indirectly lead team of local analysts on specific projects, to ensure consistency and timely delivery across the region
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in using SQL is essential
- Background in data visualization and dashboard development (we use Looker)
- Python/R and other statistical programming language experience preferred
Qualification & Experience:
- Background in Marketing or Customer Analytics in the digital space is a plus
- Understanding of statistics concepts (e.g., propensity modelling, hypothesis testing, regression analysis)
- Experience in statistical experimentation and A/B testing
