Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Main resource of technical information for the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for transitioning and training of new hires.
• Order and maintain the proper stock of materials to ensure smooth operation of the Dive Shop.
• Oversee and be able to perform all tasks of within the Dive Shop.
• Maintain open communication with other departments.
• Implement and execute the company directives on the day-to-day operation.
• Assist with daily timesheets and weekly schedules of all ambassadors within the Dive Shop.
• Maintain and provide oversight for environmental and safety regulations for the Dive Shop operations.
• Provide support to the Supervisor/Manager. Maintain a leadership presence for ambassadors in the absence of Supervisor/Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to complete provided CPR training/certification
• SCUBA certified and be able to pass a pre-employment dive physical
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to bend, reach, twist, and turn with complete flexibility.

Qualification & Experience:

• At least 5 years of diving work experience
• Proficient understanding of small gas/electric engines and pumps
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights.
• Proficient knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, hand and power tools
• Proficient in Surface Supplied Diving operations
• Knowledge of diver’s diseases and emergency remedial procedures
• Experience with risk management and safety monitoring preferred
• ADCI commercial diver certification
• Ability to become proficient with SeaWorld dive operations and systems
