Job Description:

Collects and analyzes large quantities of data from multiple sources; utilizes advanced analytical and business intelligence (BI) skills to discover trends by transforming data into business insights; applies data discovery techniques to complete statistical analysis and design high-quality prediction systems for current and future business processes; establishes and maintains strong relationships with internal and parent business units through clear and consistent engagement and communications; forms and manages relationships with third party providers in the advanced data analytics space

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops plans to develop prediction systems that enable data-driven strategic decision-making
• Collects and analyzes large quantities of data from multiple sources to discover and visualize information hidden in vast amounts of data
• Leads and manages analytical projects from conceptual through definition phase
• Develops predictive and prescriptive analytic solutions, and leverages knowledge to create and design solutions for business needs
• Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management
• Educates business partners on the use and expected results of advanced analytics
• Collaborates with internal business partners to understand Company needs and strategic business objectives
• Applies and integrates statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling, and business analysis skills to manage and manipulate complex high-volume data
• Communicates data findings to project stakeholders, business teams and various levels of Management in a preferred tool (such as Power BI or Microstrategy)
• Keeps abreast of technology, customer needs, analytical concepts and industry related trends

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
• Strong business acumen and statistical knowledge
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to perform repeated bending, standing and reaching
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to research and problem solve within large datasets
• Well organized with the ability to work under pressures and meet tight deadlines
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead and work on cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
• Knowledge of data lifecycle and the ability to analyze, model and interpret data
• Excellent time management skills; ability to multi-task and track multiple projects concurrently
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
• Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications

Qualification & Experience:

• Fluency in advanced analytics tools, e.g., R, Python
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Statistics or 3 years of experience in advanced IT data analytics
• Minimum of 1 year of IT experience in an advanced analytics role is preferred
