Job Description:

The role of the Demand Planner is to support the creation of the License Demand Plan. The Demand Plan (DP) is the basis for Purchasing and significantly influences the inventory management/stock turn and re-order availability. Therefore, it is also the foundation for reaching sales and inventory targets. Main KPI is the Demand Plan accuracy in consideration of availability and inventory levels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning teams
  • Optimization/reduction of excess stock
  • Liaise with cross-function departments (DTC, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain)
  • Availability
  • Marketing Finance
  • Responsible to support the creation and update of the Rolling Demand Plan (RDP) for defined business segments on article level for wholesale in line with the Integrated Business Plan
  • Merchandising teams
  • Forecast extrapolation
  • Demand Plan accuracy

Qualification & Experience:

  • Work experience in demand planning or a similar field preferably in the sporting goods industry
  • Fluent in English
  • SAP knowledge (APO & AFS)
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good MS Excel skills
